Willmor O. Johnson, 94, Enderlin, ND, died on July 22, 2010 at Maryhill Manor in Enderlin. A funeral service was held on July 26 at St. Petri Luthern Church, Nome, ND, with Rev. Bradley Edin officiating. Sylvia Schlagel was the organist and Nathan Johnson soloist.
Burial was at the St. Petri Lutheran Cemetery and pallbearers were B.J. Henne, Ryan Johnson, Darrell Ourenhagen, Maynard Torbenson, Dennis Broughton, and Travis Olson.
Willmor was born on September 4, 1915 in rural Nome, ND, the son of Olaf and Mabel Hagen Johnson. He attended Eastedge, ND School. Willmor married Luella Ourenhagen on June 5, 1942 at Enderlin, ND. They farmed near Nome, retiring in 1986 when they moved to Nome. They moved to Enderlin in 2006.
Willmor loved watching and listening to the Minnesota Twins and was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing cards.
Willmor is survived by his wife, Luella, Enderlin; two sons, Warren (Nancy Ann) Johnson and Roger (Rosemary) Johnson, both of Nome, ND; a daughter, Sherry Henne, Bridgeport, Nebraska; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey (Gordon) Gilbertson, Jamestown, ND and Miranda Elling, Olean, NY; sister-in-law, Agnes Ourenhagen, Enderlin; many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by Neva Johnson, Viola Torbenson, Verona Johnson, Beatrice Stensrud and Adeline Broughton.
