Geyer home destroyed by fire
Shortly after midnight Wednesday, March 3rd, the Enderlin Fire Department responded to a fire call at the David and Laurie Geyer rural home northeast of Enderlin. The couple and their 17 pets (14 dogs and 3 cats) escaped unhurt.
The Enderlin Fire Department got the call at about 12:15am. Also responding was the Leonard Fire Department, along with the Salvation Army, Casselton Ambulance Service and Cass County Sheriff.
The Geyers were home when the fire started in the chimney area and the house began to fill with smoke.
The home has been declared a total loss for the Geyers.
