Word was received of the death of Geraldine (Gerrie) Fossen Raaen on January 27, 2010. Funeral services were held January 30th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fergus Falls, MN. The Fossen family lived in Nome for many years. She leaves her husband of sixty-one years, five sons and their families. Also survived by her sisters Bernice Gray, Ruth Chose, JoAnn Pedersen, Irene Roe and brother Bill. Our sympathy to the family.
February 11th Kermit, Jill and Olivia Pederson and Hailey Jewett went to New London,?MN to visit his mother, Lee Pederson. They then went to Minneapolis to the Mall of America to spend some time and they enjoyed breakfast with Daniel Pet erson on Sunday before they left for home. Great time was had.
NancyAnn Johnson and sisters Sue, Linda and Judi recently attended the dedication of banners, pastor stoles altar and lectern cloths given with memorials and made in loving memory of their mother, Chrys-Meree Thoreson, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bismarck.
Nana and Papa Johnson have been in attendance of Tucker’s gymnastics and Brinklyn Johnson’s dance program in Valley City.
Many from our community attended the funeral of Hubert Larson at St. Paul’s in Kathryn on Saturday, February 27th and services for Donny Gilbertson\, Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Our sympathy to the families.
Warren and NancyAnn Johnson visited Stephanie and Travis Olson in their new country home in Rothsay, MN along with Murphy and Fritz!!
