The Leonard Senior Citizen's Friendship Club will hold their regular monthly meeting on Thursday, March 18th at the Senior Center in Leonard, beginning with a potluck dinner at 12 o'clock noon. There will be a business meeting, blood pressures taken, a door prize given and those with March birthdays or anniversaries will be recognized. There will be card playing or board games for entertainment. Everyone is welcome. Please call Vice President, Jean Carlson at 645-2515 if you have any questions or would like more information.
Mick and Vicky Barfuss, Winner, SD, visited Mick's mother, Ruth Barfuss from Wednesday, March 3rd through Friday, March 5th.
Frank Scott, Horace, visited Hubert and Joan Blegen on Friday, February 26th.
John Blegen, West Fargo, had breakfast on Monday and Tuesday mornings, March 1st and 2nd with his father, Hubert Blegen at a diner in West Fargo.
Carol and Ernie Olson went to Lidgerwood on Saturday evening to visit Carol's sister and her husband, Shirley and Harvey Heley and to celebrate Shirley's birthday. Other visitors were Shirley's sister and her husband, Marilyn and Richard Bleecker, Lisbon, and her two brothers and their wives, James and Ardis Metzen, Lisbon, and LeRoy and Rita Metzen, Milnor.
Carol and Ernie Olson went with Rick and Deb Fowler and Kenny to Enderlin on Saturday evening for supper and to the Fowler home afterwards to celebrate Rick's birthday.
Jens Lee, West Fargo, treated John Blegen, West Fargo, and John's father, Hubert Blegen to breakfast at a diner in West Fargo on Wednesday morning, March 3rd.
Frank Scott, Horace, visited Hubert and Joan Blegen on Thursday afternoon, March 4th. Later in the evening, Virginia Merrill, West Fargo, brought over homemade fish chowder to the Blegens and had supper with them.
