Three tables of whist were again in play on Tuesday, July 20th. First place went to Bernice Larson. A four way tie went to the following: Vivian Bjerke, Edmund Storhoff, Phyllis Storhoff and Vivian Skramstad.

Rella Brandenburg, College Place, WA, was visiting her sister and her husband, Allegra and Ed Gienger in West Fargo and the two ladies visited Hubert and Joan Blegen on Friday afternoon, July 16th. Joan taught at Ayr with Rella and the Giengers from 1954-1956 and with the Giengers in Napoleon from 1956-1958.

There was a great birthday party for little Evel Knievel, Dexter Hoenhause, who turned 6 Saturday, July 24th. The party was held at his folk’s, Mitch and Heidi Hoenhause, with the weather as perfect as it could get -- maybe a few rain drops to stop combiners.
